We were expecting our first baby, so as first time parents the whole birth process was daunting and new to us. We interviewed several doulas but Jan definitively stood out for her warmth, kindness and the fact that she was always available for questions. Once we started working together, Jan was just amazing: super attentive, kind, full of patience and time to explain things further. When it came to our birth, Jan was a trooper. We had a long and complex 34h labour and Jan stood by our side day and night, and we could not have done it without her. She was also the person who made doctors in the room more cheerful and positive than they would have normally been, which was just what we needed! Don’t think twice about choosing Jan as your doula ❤️
